Following our successful growth strategy, we have an exciting and challenging opportunity for an experienced AREA SALES MANAGER BELGIUM based in Beglium (Home Office). The Area Sales Manger Belgium is responsible for the sales and business development of the high-quality Romus product portfolio in Belgium. Your role: Maintain and develop sales to distributors and specialised retailers (Paint-Deco), including the management of the main retail chains in that segment (Key Accounts) Introduce the Romus range to flooring contractors and proactively develop that direct sales channel in Belgium Manage the achievement of sales targets and profitability in Belgium Leverage Gerflor Group cross selling opportunities and facilitate the exchange of information about sales opportunities and combined solution offers Proactively promote cooperation between the Gerflor Group organisations in Belgium Attend to relevant trade shows and events Provide market intelligence and develop sale forecasts in line with the overall sales strategy. Profil

Your profile:

  • Relevant educational background and/or business school degree
  • 5+ years of sales experience in the Belgian construction materials industry, ideally in the interior fit-out / renovation segment (B2B)
  • Strong hunter mentality and a good sense for business development opportunities
  • Good analytical skills and the ability to think outside-the-box
  • Self-starter approach and good organisation skills
  • Good knowledge of MS-Office and experience in working with CRM-Systems
  • Native speaker level communication skills in Dutch and French (mandatory), good English skills would be an advantage
  • The willingness to travel extensively
