Poste

This position requires to be responsible for the Sales of Gerflor Contract & Sport ranges of products towards the targeted market sectors such as : Healthcare - Medical, Education, Hospitality, Retail, Housing, Industry, Sport ; in a specific area in the territory of Croatia.

He / she must be located in Zagreb region and will need to often travel and visit project sites in Croatia.


In addition, the position requires to monitor and control project sites and to check the quality of installation.


Your main duties will be :

  • To contribute to the achievement of a sales budget for the territory
  • To achieve in the long term about 15 visits per week on average to our specifiers, end users, customers (flooring contractors) and construction sites and part of work in our Zagreb office.
  • To visit company construction sites and checking delivery time, quality of product installation, cleaning and maintenance protocols and measurement book.
  • To do some basic measurements on the project sites and quantity calculations
  • To do analysis of tender documentation or user requirements and preparation of bids with appropriate solution
  • To promote the company ‘s products by calling on Appointed Distributors, all their branches, Flooring Contractors, Architects & Designers, and End users.
  • To promote and achieve specification of Gerflor Commercial & Sport products by calling on Specifiers such as Architects, Interior Designers, Health Authorities, Local Authorities, Builders, Quantity Surveyors, i.e any person or company that may be involved in the specification of a floor finish.
  • To develop and maintain strong, ongoing relationships with prospects and customers.
  • To support distributors / dealers’ sales team and ensure products training as well as joint customers and specifiers visits together with distributors sales staff.
  • To organize “lunch and learn” sessions with specifiers.
  • To keep precise records, on an on-going basis, of significant projects in the territory concerning targeted market sectors.
  • To implement company practice concerning project tracking with the CRM and making weekly reports.
  • To participate actively in trade shows where Gerflor exhibits as well as in road show organized in conjunction with distributors.
  • To provide market intelligence concerning Competition, Distribution, Product trends, Standards, etc.
  • To suggest ideas to contribute to the product range development.
  • To participate actively to products field tests.
  • To arrange and attend customer trip to Factories visit if needed.
  • To inspect, when necessary, complaints on behalf of the company.

Your duties could be amended in the future depending on the business development.

Profil

Croatian language is a must.

Business school or Master degree

Minimum 2-year experience in sales with long term business with multiple decision makers

Sales/marketing and or an architecture/construction degree but not mandatory if work experience is from sales.

Entrepreneurial experience is a plus.

Experience ideally from the flooring, or construction industry. Other related industries where specifications are made and where the sales are managed by a network of distributors can be considered (ex: dry building, glue manufacturers, general contractors, building materials, etc.).

Willingness to travel extensively.
