Within the EMEA Headquarters, you will join the Content Creation & Publishing (CCP) department under the responsibility of the CCP Associate Director.
You will define and carry out the Marketing Strategy for a portfolio of products across worldwide territories to expand brand awareness, while maximizing revenue and contributive margin.
You will create and provide a marketing key beat roadmap, promotional assets, communication tools and general support to local and regional marketing teams.
Your main responsibilities include (non-exhaustive list):
Strategy definition and implementation
- Define the main strategic pillars in coordination with the developer and the Publishing team
- Team up with a producer to shape the game’s development process according to marketability’s best practice
- Work hand-in-hand with marketing support teams (PR, digital, Social Media, CRM, Event, Licensing, Channel marketing, Web, e-commerce, Operations, etc.) to integrate their expertise within the overall strategy at all stages
- Push new concepts and avenues for the brand to grow in collaboration with the editorial team
- Lead through data-backed analysis the overall communication strategy
Project follow- up and team coordination
- Create and manage internal coordination tools (assets calendar, pre-order follow-up…) to meet all Marketing & Communication milestones
- Collaborate with local and regional teams to develop and execute all aspects of the marketing plan to maximize the brand awareness and sales
- Be responsible for the project dashboards and allocate the budget split per department
Support and promotion
- Able to present the project at different phases of its life cycle to various committees (Publishing Committee, Editorial Committee, etc.)
- Work with the hierarchical supervisor, Production, Finance, BI, etc. to establish the P&L and work through the different greenlight processes of the company. Work with the relevant stakeholders (Production, Finance, Operations) on product P&Ls (full products and special editions such as Collector’s Editions) to ensure the right level of profitability for each title
- Work with the Communication & Community Management department to define the social, community, PR, support and Event strategy
- Liaise with the Go-to-Market department to ensure a proper execution of the marketing plan
- Coordinate effort between sales & digital teams to optimize digital revenues using all available means, including promotional synergies with physical products, cross-platform partnerships, etc.
Profil
- At least 7-8 years of experience, on a similar position, in the video game industry as part of an international marketing team
- Experience in brand identity creation/management
- Very good knowledge of marketing principles & tools
- Strong understanding of game development and publishing processes
- Strong understanding of the PC management games markets
- Fluency English is mandatory, French/German is a plus
- Excellent organization and time management ability in order to meet deadlines
- Strong analytical skills to enable you to process and summarize large amounts of information quickly
- Ability to work autonomously
- Ability to work with individuals from different geographies
- Good communication skills to be able to adapt to international and various audiences
- Effective team player with excellent interpersonal skills
- Diplomacy and great soft skills to become a brand ambassador to internal and external stakeholders
