Position

Within the Business Intelligence team, the Business & Product Analyst provides analysis and tools to the Production, Business Development and Marketing Teams, as well as other members of the Business Intelligence, Finance teams, and Management.

Under the supervision of the current Business & Product Analyst and supporting him in his missions, the Business & Product Analyst contributes to the evaluation of the quality and profitability of our portfolio of products.


Your main responsibilities include (non-exhaustive list):


Data Analysis:

  • Collect, clean, and analyze data related to sales, product performance, player testing and key performance indicators – both on existing Bandai Namco titles and future opportunities
  • Work closely with the DataLab team and the Consumer Insight Manager to find the relevant dataset and/or for support.
  • Update and improve the current tools used to predict sales and trends in the video game industry
  • Prepare reports and dashboards to visualize trends and outcomes
  • Support the Data & Business Analyst in providing quarterly forecasts to the Finance team

Sales estimations / Forecasting:

  • Assist the Business & Product Analyst in establishing sales forecasts for new and existing products using historical data and predictive models
  • Providing regular forecasts throughout the different phases of production
  • Deep and regular collaboration with all Bandai Namco’s subsidiaries and HQ
  • Implication in the different decisional committees

Project Support:

  • Participate in project management related to product improvements and strategic initiatives (game testing, product presentation)
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure effective implementation of recommendations

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in a relevant field (Business Management, Computer Science, Economics, etc.).
  • Any courses/certification in Data analysis is a plus
  • Previous experience in data analysis or a similar role (including internships)
  • Understanding of entertainment (ideally video game) processes
  • Previous experience in an international environment is essential
  • Fluency in English is mandatory (French is a strong plus)
  • Unmatched passion for data, gleaning insights from data, and making decisions based on data
  • Strong skills in Microsoft Word, Power Point and Excel (including VBA, Pivot Table, modelling techniques, forecast, selling curve)
  • Strong software skills including data visualization tools: Power BI (preferred), DAX language, Tableau software, Looker, Qlik
  • Skilled in Python, R, SQL and Power Query
  • Ability to work in a team and collaborate with different stakeholders
  • Knowledge of business processes and product management
  • Ability to present information in simple terms and synthetize data from various source
  • Curiosity and proactivity
  • Problem-solving skills
  • Proven ability to manage multiple, competing priorities simultaneously
  • An interest in the entertainment industry is a plus

Start date: ASAP

Contract: full time (permanent)

Remuneration: fixed and variable compensation
