Position

Within the EMEA Headquarters, you join the Marketing team under the responsibility of an experienced EMEA Product Manager. You define and carry out the EMEA Marketing Strategy for a portfolio of products across EMEA territories to maximize the revenue and the contributive margin.

In collaboration with your manager as well as central departments, you will work on a holistic approach of the product/brand, physical and digital, video game as well as potential entertainment extensions.

You create and provide promotional assets, communication tools and sales kits for the Sales Companies.

You also manage a marketing budget, follow-up and reporting prior to launch and through the lifecycle of each product.

You will have the opportunity to work both on F2P and non F2P titles.


You will perform the following tasks, including but not limited to:


Strategy definition and implementation

  • Define and carry out the EMEA marketing strategy across EMEA territories, ensuring that it is pertinent, innovative and applicable to all sales companies
  • Define the main strategic pillars in coordination with the American and Japanese teams
  • Work hand-in-hand with Central departments to integrate their feedback within the overall strategy at all stages

Project follow up and team coordination

  • Ensure the coordination of the projects throughout internal teams (local Product Managers, 1st parties, licensors and other regions (US, Japan..)
  • Create and manage the coordination tools (assets calendar, pre-order follow-up…) to meet all Marketing & Communication milestones
  • Collaborate with local Product Managers within sales companies to develop and execute all aspects of the EMEA Marketing Plan to maximize sales
  • Adopt a data-driven approach (sales, DAU, attach rate etc…) to drive business decisions and strategies, especially when it comes to GaaS/Free-To-Play/Freemium titles for which sustain and retention are keys to success

Support and promotion

  • Manage the marketing budget for each title; follow up sales in volume/value, revenue and margin
  • Develop creative assets in cooperation with the developers, licensors and creative agencies, including key art, icons, banners, trailers, media advertising, screenshots, renders, social media assets, website, etc.
  • Optimize digital revenues using all available means, including promotional synergies with physical products, cross-platform partnerships, etc.
  • In collaboration with the EMEA Product Manager, relevant Departments (eCommerce, Licensing, etc…) and external partners (other licensees), work on 360° expansion of our games’ footprint within the entertainment industry
  • Maintain a high level of working knowledge on the entire videogame market and its emerging marketing trends and opportunities, global entertainment market as well as macroeconomic trends

Requirements

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Very good knowledge of marketing principles & tools
  • Good knowledge of the videogame and/or entertainment industry
  • Fluent English is mandatory, French is a plus
  • Good communication skills so that you can adapt to international and various audiences
  • Ability to manage multiple projects in parallel
  • Excellent organization and time management ability

Experience and qualifications:

  • At least 2 years of significant and proven experience within a Marketing department in the entertainment industry
  • Knowledge in recently new gaming business models (GaaS, Free-To-Play, Freemium, Mobile Gaming, etc) is a major plus

  • Creativity, passionate about entertainment industry (Cinema, Books, Photography, etc)
  • Strong interest for the marketing field in the videogame or entertainment sectors

  • Ability to work autonomously with little supervision and without being afraid of taking initiatives
