Within the EMEA Headquarters, you join the Transmedia team under the responsibility of our Transmedia Manager. You maintain an intimate knowledge of one of our headline IP in order to help the Transmedia Manager to advise and steer franchise strategy and development.


Your principal missions will be as follows:


Content management

  • Create and set up an efficient tool to gather all the story world bible and content created so far
  • Ensure the organization and up-to-date accessibility of the IP’s story world bible. Performance tracking of each piece of content to inform future content creation efforts will also be expected.

Content creation supervision

  • Work with the Transmedia Manager to oversee, manage, and guide a group of talented writers in the creation of compelling stories for games and other media.
  • Collaborate with multiple project teams to help create and expand stories, and to assure that all writing needs are met for the project, including analyzing and estimating writing needs for projects with a wide variety of scope
  • Assist and influence development of story and lore expansion beyond games into other transmedia ventures

Content creation

  • Effectively communicate the story arcs and narrative details of the IP through various forms of content targeting both our internal and external partners as well as our players. This includes without limitation content creation for the story world bible, internal and external presentations, website and social media pages.
  • When necessary, write and edit content to transform complex concepts into accessible, easy-to-consume content reflecting our narrative DNA

Profil

  • Enrolled in a Degree majoring in writing, communication, marketing, or journalism (or related experience)
  • A first internship experience as Copywriter, Journalist or Narrative director/designer Assistant preferably in the entertainment industry would be appreciated
  • Outstanding writing and editing skills
  • Strong multidisciplinary skills
  • Ability to adapt to changes
  • Fluency in English
  • Interest for entertainment, art & pop culture

Additional information

Location: 15 rue Félix Mangini, 69009 LYON (this position is not eligible to full-remote working)

Contract: full-time internship for 6 months (no work-study program)

Start date: asap

Remuneration: dependent on degree level (from 900€ up to 1,100€ per month)
